VW reveals revised Passat CC

Date: 08 April 2010

Volkswagen has revealed its revised Passat CC with more rear seat space and sat nav and a touchscreen Bluetooth device as standard.

The carmaker said the Passat CC can now accommodate five adults after adding an extra space between the rear seats.

These changes on the entry-level model are worth £1000 of extra equipment but will only cost £515 more than the model it replaces, said VW.

On the GT model, an extra £3000 worth of equipment has been fitted, including front and rear parking sensors and cruise control, yet costs £1000 more.

The existing line-up of 1.8-litre TSI, 2.0-litre TSI and 3.6-litre V6 petrol engines and 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines remain, as does the choice of six-speed manual or DSG gearboxes on certain models.

The revised Passat CC can now be ordered with prices starting at £22,520.
