Adapted Vehicle Hire, the supplier of adapted cars and wheelchair accessible vehicles, has launched a subsidiary to improve the supply of non-standard vehicles to the fleet and leasing industry.
Specialist Vehicle Services, or SVS, will focus on meeting medium to long-term rental needs.
AVH boss Lorraine Farnon said:" The big challenge for the fleet and leasing companies is getting access to specialist vehicles to meet the specific needs of their clients. We have developed a proposition to provide specialist vehicles that do not generally feature as part of rental companies' fleets."
SVS sets out to provide vehicles that are non-core to the rental sector. Its aim is to supply specialist vehicles to fleet intermediaries rather than to end users.
"We will purchase the vehicles and manage the rental to the client's specific requirements," said Farnon.
