The start point for the best source of fleet information

Alfa Romeo goes on fleet tour

Date: 16 June 2011

Alfa Romeo is to visit 16 business locations across the UK in the next two months in a move to promote its cars to prospective small fleet and user chooser customers.

The brand is aiming to carve out a niche for itself in the fleet market by offering an alternative to the established sector leaders with Euro5 models such as the Mito supermini, upper-medium 159 and the newest model in the line-up, the 5-door Giulietta hatch.

The businesses Alfa visits will get the chance to test drive the models and also to win an Alfa Romeo road bike built for the brand by Italian bike manufacturer Compagnia Ducale.

Alfa's UK fleet boss Gerry Southerington said: "Some company cars get lost in the car park but that's not the case when you drive an Alfa Romeo. The road show is an excellent way for us to bring the latest models direct to businesses' doorsteps and highlight the competitive benefits of ownership."

The tour started in Langstone Technology Park, Portsmouth on 8 June and will visit a further 15 sites, ending with Stockley Park, London on 19 July.
