The start point for the best source of fleet information

Alphabet on recruitment trail

Date: 02 August 2011

Leasing firm Alphabet, which recently doubled in size with the acquisition of ING Car Lease, has appointed Claire Rowland as head of Rental and James Williamson as a contract manager.

Rowland was previously with Enterprise Rent-a-Car while Williamson has joined from Zurich Insurance.

The appointments follow a management reshuffle in which Martyn Gallop became fleet manager.

Rowland said: "A key area of my role will be to take our rental offering forward both as a stand-alone service and as a seamless component of our future mobility programmes. Customers will be able to turn to Alphabet not only for their rental needs but also for smart mobility solutions in association with our other managed services for company cars, pool cars, grey fleet and accident management."

Alphabet said Williamson will focus on optimising vehicle contracts and maximising value for money for the business and its customers.

He will report to head of account management Jon Burdekin.
