Fleet management company Arval UK has announced that chief executive Jean-Marc Torre is leaving his position after five years to join Bank of the West.
He will be replaced by Bart Beckers, who has spent the last 15 years with Leaseplan, most recently as chairman of the group's operation in France, where he is credited with turning round the company in 2006 before integrating the French multi-brand leasing subsidiary of the Daimler group into the business following its acquisition.
Torre will leave his role at the end of this month to take the reigns of the Commercial Banking Group at Bank of the West, which is part of the BNP Paribas Group that also owns Arval.
