Aston Barclay ramps up business with leasing giants
07 April 2011
Auction group Aston Barclay has signed a two-year deal to increase the number of cars it will sell for Masterlease UK and the Leasedrive Velo Group to more than 3000 a year.
Under the agreement Aston Barclay will increase its Masterlease and Leasedrive sales at its Westbury centre in Wiltshire from once a fortnight to once a week. It will also introduce a bi-weekly sale for the leasing companies at its Prees Heath centre in Shropshire and said that in the future the deal could be extended to cover its site in Chelmsford, Essex.
Aston Barclay has sold cars for Masterlease and Leasedrive since 2006 but said the boost in business had come as a result of the group's investment in technology and customer service.
Tim Hudson, the group's MD, said: "Aston Barclay has had a great working relationship with Masterlease and Leasedrive Velo over the last five years to which the award of the two year contract is testament."
