Avensis facelift 'bolder and braver'

Date: 20 September 2011

The mid-life facelift of Toyota's Avensis is the first example of the company's understanding that "a mid-cycle freshen needs to get bolder and braver", according to UK boss John Williams.

The new model will have a 119g/km variant courtesy of a 20g/km reduction on the 2.0-litre 124hp diesel, and Williams said there has also been a focus on improving driving dynamics, interior quality and refinement, as well as styling revamp.

Williams also said Toyota has been working hard with the RV guides to ensure the right specification, including the Touch and Go multimedia and navigation system.
