Citroen expands Nemo line-up

Date: 22 March 2011

Citroen has expanded its newly launched Euro 5 Nemo line-up with the Nemo HDi 75 EGS Stop and Start 660 LX.

The model features the brand's automated manual Electronic Gearbox System, which it claims combines the fuel efficiency of a manual transmission with the driver comfort of a two-pedal automatic. The EGS system allows the driver to select automatic or manual mode via the sequential shift facility on the gear lever.

Citroen said CO2 emissions on the EGS version are reduced by 3.5%, compared to the Euro 5 Nemo HDi vans with five-speed manual transmission, to 109g/km. Combined fuel consumption is increased by 4.6% to 68.9mpg.

The EGS version is £400 more expensive than the manual LX derivative, which starts at £11,365 excluding VAT.

Citroen has also enhanced the specification of the range topping Nemo HDi 75 manual Stop and Start 660 Enterprise with its new dual-function Connecting Box, which includes Bluetooth and a USB socket. The new kit replaces the solus Bluetooth connectivity previously offered and is available as an option on all Nemo LX vans.
