The start point for the best source of fleet information

Date: 22 August 2011

Lexus has revealed its new executive class GS model, which launches in the UK early next year.

Though details are currently scarce, the Japanese firm has confirmed a new GS450h hybrid version, and a GS250 petrol model, unlike the currently hybrid-only range.

Toyota's luxury arm is promising a "more engaging driving experience", as well as greater interior and boot space. The latter is up 25% on the admittedly tiny current GS, and the company said access to both the rear seats and the boot is also improved.

A rear parking camera will be standard, and other features will include an industry-leading ten airbags, three more than is currently the norm among safety leaders.

More details will be revealed later this year.
