First VRA conference confirmed

Date: 11 January 2011

The new Vehicle Remarketing Association, launched in 2010, will hold its first conference on 25 January at the Williams F1 conference centre in Oxfordshire.

The event aims to address "those key issues which influence the successful delivery of a good remarketing strategy", with a speaker line-up giving their views on "best practice, market dynamics and the challenges facing this important sector of the automotive market".

Hosted by television presenter Ginny Buckley, the conference will cover 12 topics across the remarketing sector including sessions entitled The Appetite for Used Greens and Hooking the Online Buyer, as well as looking at the legacy left by 2010's market and what to look forward to in 2011.

Speakers include Paul Everitt, boss of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Lombard remarketing director Richard Richmond and senior figures from Manheim, BCA, Cap and Glass's Guide, as well as David Raistrick and Mike Woodward, both partners at accounting giant Deloitte.

Organisers are expecting around 150 delegates to attend, and tickets are priced at £149 plus VAT per delegate. More details can be found at www.vehicle-remarketing.co.uk.
