Fleet Efficiency gets funding boost

Date: 20 April 2011

Fleet management company Fleet Efficiency has expanded its business with funding secured from Lombard.

Lombard provided a £720,000 sale and leaseback finance deal to enable Fleet Efficiency to buy 158 cars and commercial vehicles from its original supplier, while freeing up capital to invest in service delivery and saving money on outsourcing.

Fleet Efficiency's director of Fleet Operations Mick James said: "Lombard created a tailored finance solution which enabled us to invest in the expansion of the fleet, saving on rentals and bringing everything in-house. The funding has enabled us to move our strategy forward by at least 12 months and invest more in our service levels."
