The Leasedrive Group has appointed Paul Fleming to the newly-created position of sales and marketing director.
Fleming was previously chief executive of Alternatech Fuel Systems and prior to that he was managing director Europe for Britax Childcare between 2004 and 2007. From 2000 to 2004 he was with the Volkswagen Group, firstly as chief executive of Europcar UK and then as president of Volkswagen Brazil.
Leasedrive MD David Bird said attracting Fleming to the group was a coup.
"He is a true automotive industry heavyweight and strengthens still further our senior management team at this particularly exciting time in the group's history following the successful integration of the Masterlease UK contract hire business."
The Leasedrive Group formed in May 2011, It operates two divisions from its Wokingham HQ - Leasedrive Vehicle Management with a fleet of 45,000 vehicles and Leasedrive Rental Management with access to 228,700 vehicles from 1200 sites.
