Date: 06 July 2011

LeasePlan UK has appointed Tim Meadows as brand director of its public sector brand Automotive Leasing.

The move comes as former head Stuart Walker takes up the new role of strategic marketing and ancillary services director.

Meadows has been with LeasePlan for seven years, most recently as southern regional Director, and brings experience from both the retail and leasing sector. Prior to joining LeasePlan, he held positions with Lombard Vehicle Management and Lex Vehicle Leasing.

Matt Dyer, LeasePlan commercial director said: "We are delighted to announce Tim's appointment. Tim's strong customer focus and people management skills will ensure that Automotive Leasing remain the public sector leasing specialists."

Commenting on his appointment, Meadows said; "I'm thrilled to be taking on this position at such an exciting and challenging time to be involved with the public sector. Our focus will be to help our clients continue to deal with tough budgetary considerations and realise efficiencies in their fleet management, whilst optimising employee benefits."
