Nissan appoints new fleet sales director

Date: 31 March 2011

Nissan GB has appointed Barry Beeston to the position of fleet sales director.

Beeston replaces Andy Woodall who has recently left the company.

He joined the Japanese carmaker in 1991 as technical support controller and moved on to several other roles within the company before becoming national fleet operations manager in 2007.

Having expressed his delight at taking the helm at the brand's fleet operation, Beeston added: "With increased brand consideration and substantial market share growth, coupled with a number of innovative products in the pipeline designed to appeal to the company car driver, Nissan is now even more relevant in the fleet sector."

Beeston reports to James Douglas, corporate sales director.
