Ogilvie Fleet launches new website
05 April 2011
Ogilvie Fleet has launched a new website designed to give fleet managers "a comprehensive overview of operating and tax costs".
Ogilvie said the site gives fleet bosses and car and van drivers the tools to guide them to the lowest emission and most tax friendly vehicles.
An online calculator also enables drivers to work out their benefit-in-kind tax liability and whether they should get employer paid for fuel for private use.
Lease rental quotes are available based on the Ogilvie True Cost, which uses whole life costs to compile company car choice lists but also includes costs associated with National Insurance Contributions and applies the corporation tax saving before adding back in any applicable lease rental allowance.
Sales and marketing director Nick Hardy claimed the Ogilvie True Cost provides an accurate representation of the real costs of running a vehicle and allows a precise comparison of different models to be made.
"Innovation is at the heart of Ogilvie Fleet and with the new website we have created the most functional and easy to navigate online toolbox for fleet chiefs and drivers," he said.
