Transport for London is urging businesses to put travel plans in place ahead of the London 2012 Olympics after new figures from TfL showed that bankers, lawyers and retailers are leading the way when it comes to preparing for the transport challenges posed by next year's event.
Firms in these sectors largely make up the 200 firms across London, accounting for 370,000 employees, that have signed up for the travel advice for business from London 2012 travel advisors.
The programme is available to firms with over 200 staff located in an area affected by the games and involves free one-to-one advice sessions on organisation for next summer, and will also include how to optimise deliveries, plan business travel and help firms maintain service continuity.
