The start point for the best source of fleet information

Queen Elizabeth launches salary sacrifice scheme

Date: 10 May 2011

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust has joined NHS CPC Drive's salary sacrifice scheme to give more than 2000 staff the option to choose a new car as part of their flexible benefits package.

The Queen Elizabeth chose NHS CPC Drive through the NHS focused fleet management service that provides a range of fleet solutions to the UK's 400 NHS Trusts online.

This year NHS CPC Drive opted to team up with salary sacrifice specialist Tusker to supply lease cars, salary sacrifice cars, grey fleet management services and electronic expenses management through Tusker's electronic SS4C service.

The Queen Elizabeth has set a carbon cap of 150g/km for employees' cars on the scheme to promote sustainability and its green credibility.

Allen Scholes, head of purchasing and supply at the Queen Elizabeth, said: "We are expecting uptake of around 2% per annum of all eligible staff."
