READER POLL: Corporate manslaughter

Date: 14 March 2011

While the Corporate Manslaughter Act was introduced in 2007, there had not been a conviction under the law until last month when Cotswold Geotechnical Holdings was found guilty and fined £385,000 after a geologist died when a trench collapsed.

As a result, the latest online poll asks readers: How much of a difference will the first corporate manslaughter prosecution make to your duty of care procedures?

- None, because it wasnt car-related

- None, because we feel our duty of care is sufficient

- Some

- A lot
