Seat launches new city car Mii

Date: 03 October 2011

Seat has announced details of its city car, named the Mii and based on the Volkswagen Up. Arriving in spring next year, the Mii will offer 1.0-litre petrol engines with 60 and 75hp. The most economical, falling under Seat's green badsge Ecomotive, will emit 97g/km Co2.

Initially, the Mii will be available in three-door form, but a more fleet-relevant five-door version will arrive later in 2012.

Technology includes City Safety Assist and an infotainment system which includes 'Eco-trainer' to encourage economical training.

While Seat describes the Mii as the "perfect partner for everyday urban life", it adds that "its spaciousness, comfort levels and sporty dynamics" make it suitable for longer distances too.
