Seat set to add eco-friendly Exeo to range

Date: 16 September 2011

Exeo

Seat is expected to add an Exeo Ecomotive to its range next year with CO2 due to be between 100g/km and 120g/km. The model would add stop/start to help reduce CO2.

Seat has just revised the current upper medium Exeo to include driving lights as standard on the Sport trim, which "gives it a bit more on road presence". Emissions have also dropped, with the 2.0-litre 120hp Exeo now at 129g/km, down from 136g/km. A new Exeo is not expected for at least three years.

Meanwhile, Seat will launch a three-door version of VW's supermini Up soon after VW's model goes on sale next spring, and will also launch a five-door version, most relevant to fleets, later next year.
