Fleet management consultants Epyx has made two new appointments from outside its business.
The company has created the new role of tyre programmes director for Mike Wise and appointed Martin Lone as the trade account member for Scotland and the north of England.
Wise joins Epyx following a series of senior tyre management roles including being managing director at Kwik-Fit Fleet. He held the same position at ATS Euromaster Service and Development and also at the Euromaster Dutch operation.
According to Epyx, his role involves a "variety of new tyre initiatives for fleet and retail markets" applied to the 1link service network e-commerce platform, which will be revealed in "due course".
Gary Gibson, Epyx's head of customer services, added that Wise's "immediate brief is to focus on further developing the market for our products in the tyre sector throughout Europe, working in both fleet and supply chain areas".
Meanwhile, Lone, a former Toyota GB training consultant, will be working with users of the 1link disposal network platform, designed for large fleets to efficiently manage car and van disposal online, via franchised and independent dealers so they can efficiently locate required used stock.
