Businesses demand remote working technology during Olympics

Cloud computing firm Qubic has reported an increase in demand for its technology, as business sought to increase the capacity for employees to work from home or remotely in the run up to and during the Olympics.

Chris Papa, managing director at Qubic, said: "Businesses, both large and small, operating in the transport and logistic services sector will be requiring easy access to round-the-clock high-speed and secure communications to ensure continuity in business operations during the games."

Locog has announced that the number of vehicles travelling in London has dropped by 17% since the start of the Olympics.
