Citroen appoints Martin Hamill as new fleet boss

Date: 06 July 2012

Citroen UK has appointed Martin Hamill as fleet director following Andrew Wady's departure from the company.

Hamill moves from his role as head of commercial vehicles and business sector, where he oversaw sales growth of 39.7% year-on-year in 2011 and 24.7% to May 2012.

He has been with Citroen for 13 years, with other roles including area fleet manager, commercial manager and national fleet operations manager.

Commenting on his new appointment, Hammill said: "The introduction of the DS line and initiatives like our Business Class programme have changed the way we're perceived right across the industry.

He added: "I look forward to working closely with my team so that we further build our presence."

Outgoing boss Wady joined as fleet director in October 2009, leaving the role of national contract hire and leasing manager at Audi.
