Citroen DS5 Hybrid4: now with 91g/km

Date: 16 October 2012   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Citroen has updated software in its DS5 Hybrid4 models, bringing down CO2 and improving fuel efficiency.

Enhancements to the diesel hybrid powertrain include improved energy recovery when decelerating or braking plus a new battery management system.

On sale now, the DS5 Hybrid4 reduces CO2 for the DSign model from 99g/km to 91g/km (BIK tax band 10%).

DStyle and DSport versions see emissions drop from 107g/km to 102g/km, with a BIK band change from 12% to 11%.

Smaller wheels are also available as a no-cost option on the Hybrid4 DStyle and DSport. These will cut CO2 from 102g/km to 91g/km, the same as the entry-level DSign.
