CV Show goes international

Date: 30 April 2012

The UK's Commercial Vehicle Show is set to become one of eight global CV events with international accreditation from the OICA, the international organisation of motor vehicle manufacturers.

Paul Everitt, chief exec of the SMMT, one of the show's organisers, told BusinessCar that gaining accreditation for 2013 would give the UK event the opportunity to expand and build on its reputation, particularly in the odd-numbered years when the bi-annual Hanover Show, Europe's largest CV exhibition, is not held.

"People will see the UK show as the big opportunity for the year," Everitt said. "We will gain extra exhibitors and a higher profile."
