Epyx appoints new sales boss

Date: 13 June 2012   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Fleet e-commerce firm Epyx has appointed David Wallace, formerly executive director of business services at the Automobile Association, to the newly created role of sales and business development director.

Wallace's previous roles have also included sales director at Evans Halshaw Financial Services and sales director at Fleet Cost Management.

He will be responsible for maintaining and creating business relationships with manufacturers, large fleets and major dealer groups.

He said: "Over the past decade, Epyx has developed the 1link range of e-commerce platforms to become the acknowledged standard for the fleet and motor industries.

"The challenge now is to sustain and build on that position, enhancing our existing offerings and closely examining the potential for new markets and new products."

Meanwhile Epyx's 1link Service Network has been updated giving fleets "some of the most advance service and maintenance management functionality available," according to the firm.

"These include an improved scheduling module which lets fleets schedule and book any service, MOT or inspection and the ability for leasing companies to create branded microsites for individual customers that allow service and maintenance bookings directly to the platform.
