Epyx appoints Phil Franklin as 1link development manager

Phil Franklin has been promoted to business development manager for 1link Service Network at motor industry e-commerce firm Epyx.

Franklin said: "Having worked on 1link Service Network for a number of years, I am very familiar with its capabilities and the needs of the fleets and dealers who use the platform every day.

"I'm also looking forward to working on future enhancements with existing and emerging customers."

Employed by the company since 2002, his new role will be responsible for sales of the e-commerce platform to existing market prospects as well as identifying new opportunities.

Gary Gibson, head of customer services at Epyx, said: "Phil looks set to bring a renewed drive to the product, particularly as we look forward to a period of exciting new developments during 2012."

1link Service Network is used by fleets totalling more than two million vehicles to manage and process transactions with 16,000 franchise dealers, independent garages and fast-fits.
