Ford appoints new fleet boss

Date: 12 November 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Ford has appointed a new director of fleet operations in the UK and announced outgoing fleet boss Kevin Griffin's move to head up the company's European commercial vehicle business.

Phil Hollins has been confirmed as the replacement for Griffin - who has been in his current position for nine years - and will take the reigns of the company's corporate sales in the UK from January 2013.

Hollins joined the firm as a graduate in 1985 and has held a variety of roles since, including marketing director of Ford Credit, director of dealer operations, and his current role of product marketing for Ford of Europe.

The firm's UK MD Mark Ovenden said of the role change: "[Phil] brings a wealth of experience in the global automotive business. He will build on the excellent foundations provided by Kevin who has established a highly successful, disciplined approach to all areas of fleet sales."
