Fleet Support Group (FSG) is to offer customers a new real-time data-capturing system in to better monitor journeys and reduce costs.
The addition of the new technology follows the firm's recent acquisition by US company Automotive Resources International (ARI), which claims to have "20 times the resources of FSG" and is now filtering its technology down to the UK firm.
Prior to FSG receiving the data-capturing system, president, Carl Ortell, spent a week based at the company's head office in Chippenham to evaluate the business and decide which technologies to offer its subsidiary.
Ortell commented: "Our investment in technology has resulted in the delivery of numerous online management reporting tools to business and we will bring those solutions to the UK and pilot them with FSG customers."
