Date: 26 November 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Honda has described its new suite of engines as "class-leading"

Honda has announced its first fleet deal for Civics fitted with its new 1.6-litre diesel engine.

Design and publicity agency The Co'dair Group has ordered 18 cars to replace its entire fleet.

John Dedross, managing director of The Co'dair Group, said: "We have always demanded a lot from our vehicles and suppliers.

"By selecting the 1.6-litre diesel engine we have reduced our drivers' benefit-in-kind taxation, fuel costs and service and maintenance Budget."

The Japanese firm has heralded the forthcoming 1.6-litre diesel Civic as the car to get it back on track in fleet, courtesy of 94g/km, 78.5mpg and 120hp.
