Date: 13 November 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Titan Airways has a struck a fleet deal with Hyundai that will see the Korean firm supply the airline with i20, i40 Tourer and i800 models to be used as company pool cars, transporting cabin crew to airports and as transport to and from airport buildings and aircraft.

Paul Taylor, business development manager at Titan Airways, said: The key motivation. is that they were one of the very few manufacturers who could supply both small compact hatchbacks and large people carriers.

"Furthermore, the five-year Triple Care warranty package was also a deciding factor."

The firm services its vehicles more regularly than most fleets - once every six months - which is a requirement if they are to be driven onto airfields alongside planes.

Martin Wilson, Hyundai's national fleet sales manager said: "Titan Airways delivers professional and quality service and our range of models match that too.

"Our refreshed range of vehicles is ideally suited to fleets because of our class-leading whole-life cost offering."
