Lexus offers 87g/km CT200h

Date: 24 October 2012   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Lexus has introduced a new entry-level CT200h, delivering 87g/km of CO2, down from 94g/km, and priced from £21,995 - £2k cheaper than the previous bottom-of-the-range SE.

The lower emissions have been achieved by the use of smaller wheels and a larger rear spoiler.

The company has also increased its range from four to five trim levels and renamed them S (the new trim), SE, Luxury, F-sport and Premier.

Standard kit on each trim has been tweaked and means all, except for S, come with revised front armrest, while the Premier grade includes a DAB digital radio and electric front passenger seat re-adjustment.

The carmaker said the move was "extending the appeal of the market's only fully hybrid luxury compact hatchback".
