Minor revamp for Countryman

Date: 19 November 2012   |   Author:

Mini has announced an interior revamp of its largest model, the Countryman.

Arriving this month, the revised models will enjoy interior tweaks designed to give the car a higher-quality appearance, while the cabin is also more practical thanks to Mini moving the window switches from their previous toggle position in the middle of the dashboard to a new and more conventional spot on the door panel.

That creates easier access to the storage area below the centre consul.

Mini also confirmed that all its revised manual versions of the petrol Mini One Countryman and Cooper Countryman models meet Euro6 emissions regulations due in 2014, and the revised model also benefits from a range of new colours and a restructuring of the equipment packages designed to "make it even easier to customise" the Countryman.
