New baby-MPV from Fiat - the 500L

Date: 03 February 2012   |   Author:

Fiat has revealed the new addition to its 500 family, with the 500L supermini-MPV joining the three-door, convertible and performance Abarth versions.

Arriving in the UK early next year, the 500L will arrive with a choice of 0.9 Twinair and 1.4-litre petrol engines, or the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel, and Fiat claims the car has "MPV space combined with the feel of a small SUV on the road and the restrained dimensions and efficiency of a B segment [supermini] car".

At 414cm long, the 500L is the same length as a Nissan Juke, and more information on the five-door model will appear closer to launch.
