New Lexus LS luxury saloon unveiled

Date: 09 August 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Lexus has revealed the first official images of its revised LS luxury saloon.

The firm's flagship model has been restyled in a similar vein to the new GS and it is said to feature 3000 changes, including revisions to the steering and suspension to improve the handling and a series of updates to improve refinement and comfort.

The existing LS460 and LS600h models remain and a new F Sport version will be available when the car goes on sale at the end of the year, promising a lower ride height, upgraded brakes and a paddle shift gearbox.

Performance, economy and emissions figures will be announced closer to the car's on-sale date.
