New Renault Clio unveiled

Date: 06 July 2012

Renault has revealed its new fourth-generation Clio, with the bold model arriving in the UK early 2013.

The engine range will include an 88mpg and 83g/km 1.5-litre 90hp diesel and a 99g/km 90hp three-cylinder petrol engine, while a 120hp 1.2 petrol will follow in the first half of next year.

Coming only as a five-door model, including the RenaultSport version that will follow, the new Clio will also feature, from Dynamique trim upwards, the firm's R-link system integrating the car and internet via a seven-inch screen touch-screen giving access to the internet and Renault's equivalent of an app store.

The entire range will also come with Bluetooth as standard, while a dual-clutch automatic transmission will be offered for the 90hp diesel engine during the first half of next year.
