Renault electric van network goes live

Date: 03 January 2012   |   Author: Hugh Hunston

Renault's initial network of 21 dedicated electric van centres has gone live across the UK, providing sales, service and specialist commercial advice for LCV operators running the Kangoo Van Z.E.

Ranging from Exeter to Inverness, the electric van dealerships will have a minimum of five Z.E. sales, service and technical specialists per outlet. Sales staff expertise will cover funding, charging options and battery hire schemes to "allay any potential concerns over powertrain replacement costs and performance".

Each site will also operate a Z.E. van demonstrator and be equipped with specialist ramps and equipment for the vehicles, which have zero BIK ratings and 100% capital write down during the first year.
