Revised Mercedes C-class boosts residual values

Date: 07 August 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Mercedes has officially announced its revisions to the upper medium C-class, as reported by BusinessCar in June.

The changes consist of a new trim structure with heavier use of the AMG performance moniker and a new turbocharged 1.6-litre engine for the C180 Blue Efficiency model generating 47.9mpg and 138g/km in the saloon, which lowers BIK ratings by up to 4% depending on the model.

Trim levels now include Executive SE, AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus for the saloon and the estate, and Mercedes is also claiming an increase in residual values of 5% as a result of the changes.
