TfL: Don't 'wait and see' for Olympic traffic

Date: 24 July 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Transport for London is urging businesses not to adopt a 'wait and see' approach and continue to travel as normal during the Olympic Games, as has often been the case with firms and the public in previous host cities.

TfL has published a series of animated maps on its getaheadofthegames.com website to better highlight the areas of disruption, and has also released a series of what it calls Transport Factsheets, which contain a summary of anticipated road and public transport conditions for each day of the Games and resultant travel advice.

The factsheets will be updated daily and can be downloaded at geataheadofthegames.com.
