Vauxhall is to launch its pioneering Road Trip app on Android and iPad formats, and will also upgrade the system as downloads head towards the 6000 mark.
The app allows drivers to log business mileage by trip using Google maps, and set a vehicle and mileage rate, before downloading a report for easy monthly reclaims.
New developments looming include a car registration input, so the rest of the form will auto-populate, and the addition of a mobile-optimised web page for users that can't access the app.
The updated Road Trip will also store start or end location automatically. Not restricted solely to Vauxhall models, the app is suitable for any make and model of vehicle.
The Android app and iPad additions are due for imminent release, while the mobile-enabled online version of Road Trip is due by the end of June.
