Volvo fleet sales up by a third

Date: 15 August 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Volvo has reported an increase of 32% in its UK corporate and leasing registrations so far this year.

The company's business car registrations stood at 7013 for the first half of 2012, compared with 5327 for the same period last year.

The firm recently launched a business sales academy, aimed at boosting corporate sales, and has put 300 staff through a business sales consultant course.

Selwyn Cooper, Volvo Car UK's national corporate operations manager, said: "We are committed to providing our customers with relevant and accurate advice as they search for vehicles that will complement their business and contribute to company savings, as well as providing their drivers with cars they are happy to drive.

"Our Business Sales Academy launched this year and has already seen some impressive results, and customer feedback has been very positive."
