Volvo revamps business car team

Date: 18 October 2012   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Volvo has appointed four account development managers to its business sales team headed up by national corporate sales operations manager James Shires.

Replacing outgoing members who have moved elsewhere in Volvo, the appointments of Laura Dorsett, Jeanette Griggs, Jane Kelly and Alison Newman reflect the carmaker's "commitment to improving relations between the brand and its customers", said Volvo.

Dorsett joined Volvo in 1994 and was previously dealer payments manager in the finance team, while Jeanette Griggs joins after 11 years at Renault UK as a senior area manager where she headed a team handling sales and aftersales.

Kelly has also been at Volvo since 1994 and leaves her former post as a senior customer relations consultant, and Newman moves from Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions after 10 years as corporate account manager.

Speaking of the appointments, Shires said: "These roles reflect our dedication to developing relations with the business community."
