The new Mazda 6
Mazda is gunning for the corporate market with both barrels with a tour that will see it deliver a 30-strong demonstrator fleet of its new upper medium 6 models to businesses across the country in December.
The Japanese firm intends to put the car in front of 500 existing and potential fleet customers throughout the month.
The operation will comprise 40 Mazda staff, headed up by fleet boss Steve Tomlinson, all of whom will be driving the cars across the country and touting for business.
Tomlinson said: "The all-new Mazda 6 is the most important fleet model in the Mazda range. It is the first time that Mazda has arranged such a tour and we are mobilising all our resources to raise as much awareness as we can of the all-new Mazda 6 with fleets."
"Each client visit will last about 60 minutes during which they will be given a short presentation highlighting the car's key attributes, a 'walk-round' of the vehicle and then sample its exceptional driving dynamics on the road with a drive."
The firm is appealing to fleet operators to arrange visits as part of the tour by calling 08453 570051.
