Leasing firm Arval is to launch an online customer service initiative known as Smart Experience in March 2014.
The move sees the company step up its online activities and includes initiatives such as new web content for fleet operators, mobile apps for drivers, dashboards designed for use on tablets and social media channels.
Arval claims the Smart Experience is designed to boost customer relations, save time and better equip fleet operators for using mobile technology.
It added that the apps will allow drivers to "operate in the most efficient way".
The programme has already been pegged for Arval's operations in Italy and France and a wider rollout is expected.
It ties in the with company's 'One Arval' scheme - a customer service drive that "unites the plans and activities of all Arval subsidiaries".
Robert Pieczka, business development and marketing director at Arval said: "The pace of change in technology is growing ever faster and our customers and their drivers expect us to utilise new opportunities.
"No matter where they are, they want the relevant information, insight and services available to them in a useful and easy to digest format."
"The Smart Experience is not about technology for the sake of it. What it does is utilise the best new technologies for the right purposes to provide intelligent, practical and accessible solutions for our customers and their drivers."
