Audi upgrades A4 trim but cuts price

Date: 16 July 2013   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Audi has upgraded the SE Technik line on its A4 saloon and Avant models while decreasing the price by £350.

Until now, the trim has had all SE features and added leather upholstery, satnav, iPod connection, and parking system with front and rear visual and sound guidance. The latest move also brings 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels (from 17-inch five-spoke) and metallic paint.

The German brand said the move now represents a customer saving of £3025 compared with the cost of specifying the items individually.

The fleet-friendly 2.0-litre TDI 136hp iteration, the TDIe in SE Technik trim, will feature 17-inch alloys with low rolling-resistance tyres to avoid impacting efficiency.

Prices for the SE Technik models range from £24,960 to £33,520.
