Citroen facelifts C3 supermini

Date: 14 March 2013

Citroen C3

Citroen has given its C3 supermini a mid-life makeover with new styling and improved engines.

The revised C3 has a new front bumper, grille and lights and the rear gains new lights. Under the bonnet Citroen has upgraded the petrol engine offering with new 1.0 and 1.2 three-cylinder units capable of 62.8mpg and 65.7mpg, and CO2 emissions of 99g/km and 104g/km respectively.

Despite the improved efficiencies the petrol engines are also up to 15% more powerful than before. However, the 1.4 diesel remains unchanged, and the lowest-emitting model at 87g/km and 83.1mpg.

Prices are expected to remain in line with the current car, which starts at £12,990 and will arrive on UK roads in early summer.
