Porsche will become more than just a blip on fleet's radar with the introduction of a mid-sized SUV called the Macan in April 2014.

Priced from £43,300, it will be available with a 258hp 3.0-litre diesel engine capable of 46.3mpg and with CO2 starting from 159g/km. Performance from the diesel S will see a top speed of 143mph and a 0-60mph time of 6.3 seconds.

The baby Cayenne will rival cars such as the Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It will also be available with a choice of two petrol engines: a 340hp 3.0-litre V6 capable of 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds and a 400hp 3.6-litre turbo capable of 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds.
