Hitachi has developed new salary sacrifice schemes for six customers in the past 18 months with more than 6200 cars added to date.
Hitachi attributes its success to working across all departments in the customer companies and also offering some of the lowest interest rates available.
"We know from experience that the fleet department will want to treat the scheme as an extension to their fleet responsibilities, HR will want to treat salary sacrifice as a benefit scheme, while finance will be risk averse and want to reduce costs," explained Mike Belcher, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions' head of sales. "Our role is to identify companies where we are confident all three can work together to deliver a salary sacrifice scheme that benefits both employer and employee."
