Honda CR-V cleans up at 119g/km

Honda has added its latest 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine to the CR-V compact SUV. The engine, which has so far only appeared in the Civic.

The cleanest version will be front-wheel drive only (as is the Mazda) and develop 120hp.

It will be on sale towards the end of the year, while existing 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol variants will remain available with four-wheel drive.
