Land Rover revises Discovery for 2014

Date: 24 September 2013

The Land Rover Discovery has been revised for 2014, with new front lights, bumper and grille differentiating it from the existing car.

Land Rover has added a host of improvements to the facelifted car,  including a stop/start system that lowers emissions on the popular 256PS 3.0 SDV6 model from 230g/km to 213g/km, while fuel consumption is improved to 35.3mpg.

On sale in mid-November, the 2014 Discovery adds some of the new features seen on the Range Rover Sport, including wade sensing to detect water depth when off-road (or in floods), blind spot monitoring, closing vehicle sensing, reverse traffic detection and T-junction cameras.
